Promotion often makes the difference between business success and failure. A recent email from Startup Digest gave me some great ideas.
- Develop checklists and top 10 lists. These are handy way to organize tips and other important information.
- Tie your news story to recent events. This can be a two-edged sword if you want to offer evergreen content. Don’t do this for every announcement.
- Get in the email inbox. This is still where people look first for news information,checking it multiple times a day.
- Celebrate the holidays with discount or special offer. There are holidays year round.
- Always include a list of upcoming events. Let your audience know where to find you.
