The alliance will provide energy production workflow solutions that take advantage of both companies’ product portfolios for the oil and gas industry.
In the oil and gas industry, seismic data processing can be used to create revealing images of the geological structure of the earth’s subsurface. This often requires transforming one field representation from one mesh to a different representation on another mesh. Through the alignment of their offerings which is designed from the outset to exploit the performance of multi-core servers & GPU parallel processing, this operation can be done a fraction of the time with more accurate results.
