Suchita Kaundin on our Market Exploration Bootcamp

Suchita Kaundin left a nice comment on LinkedIn about the value of the SKMurphy Market Exploration Bootcamp that I have preserved here.

Suchita Kaundin on our Market Exploration Bootcamp

Working at an early-stage startup often feels like juggling a hundred balls at once, long hours, constant decisions, and inevitable conflicts about what to prioritize next.

That’s why I’m grateful for mentors like Sean Murphy. Even after his bootcamp ended, he continues to spend an hour with us every few weeks helping us cut through the noise and focus on what matters most.

One breakthrough for us was his guidance on resolving a top-of-funnel issue. Instead of spreading ourselves thin, Sean helped us frame the problem clearly, prioritize, and take action with confidence.

It’s rare to find someone who not only teaches but stays invested in your success well after the program. Thank you, Sean Murphy, for being a steady compass in the messy, early stages of building.

If you’re an early-stage founder trying to make sense of the chaos, I can’t recommend Sean Murphy enough. Do follow him, he has some valuable articles.

SKMurphy Take

I am grateful for her kind words and excited by what the Guestrix.ai team has accomplished. Staycee is a voice-enabled AI agent that can handle common AirBNB guest questions. The promise to AirBNB hosts is to “Give guests instant answers. Reclaim your time. Keep the human touch.” The Guestrix team created Staycee to support short-term rental hosts who care deeply about guest experience and value their own time.  The GuestrixAI Team is Aleksei Borovikov, Suchita Kaundin, and Salma Saad.

And since Suchita was so complementary about the SKMurphy Market Exploration Bootcamp, here are some details.

Learn fastCustomer Discovery is the foundation of building a product or service that truly solves customer problems. Too many startups spend time, money, and energy pursuing ideas without first validating them. The result? Products with little real market need.

Our Customer Discovery Bootcamp helps you avoid this fate. Customer Discovery enables you to:

  • Identify real customer pain points and challenges
  • Test and refine your value proposition before major investments
  • Learn faster and increase your odds of product–market fit

We cover:

  • How to run effective customer interviews
  • Crafting and testing your sales pitch and process
  • Early lead generation strategies

Delivered in an on-demand, inverted classroom format, the Bootcamp combines recorded briefings with assigned startup-specific “homework.” You’ll then review your work with fellow entrepreneurs and seasoned experts from SKMurphy—getting actionable feedback and real-world insights.

Suchita Kaundin: What I’ve Learned as a product manager for Guestrix (Aug-4-2025)

  • Finding hosts willing to talk was harder than building the product.
  • We’re not in the AI business, we’re in the knowledge business. Hosts don’t need smarter automation, they need accessible expertise.
  • MVP means saying no to everything that doesn’t solve the core problem.
  • Context is everything in hospitality.
  • Voice changes everything for hosts. This was our most surprising discovery. While guests might prefer text, hosts are often cooking, cleaning, or driving when questions come in. The ability to quickly speak an answer “Tell them the extra blankets are in the hall closet, second shelf, and remind them the heater takes 10 minutes to warm up”versus typing it out changes the entire dynamic. It turns interruptions into quick knowledge captures.
  • Collaboration is the product, especially when you’re building something personal. We’re a small team, but what we’ve built so far is the result of deep trust, fast decisions, and honest feedback loops. Weekly alignment meetings where we review actual host conversations have been more valuable than any framework or process.
